I am american and I totally agree with you. In Britian all the amazing music is played and that's why I only listen to bbc radio 1 streaming on my computer. I hate that americans think musicans like Robbie are not good enough. I think he is amazin.

I was there that night and believe me, he was on form from the moment he stepped onto the stage - he was funny & cheeky and the way he moved from songs like 'Blasphemy' to song's like 'Supreme' or 'Starstruck' proved his diversity and showmanship. The crowd were just electric (pardon the pun...electric proms!) and totally fed off it. I'll never forget it - it was brilliant and the band was amazing (so was the opera singer, don't know her name though).

Aunty beeb in the early 90s banned the most worldwide popular music, heavy metal/rock whatever you want to call it from radio one. Groups like ACDC, KISS MOTLEY CRUE still sell out huge stadiums from Rio de Janero to Tokyo, yet still they refuse to play any new or old material from this genre of music. They have shaped what you listen to, thats my point, for the tru rock fan the beeb have done nothing

I heard this concert on live on BBC1 (radio) and I was quite disappointed. He must have been under so much stress and I think it did take its toll. Yet 1hour and 10 mins into the concert it all turned to magic. He was perfect and from then on it was really awesome. Pity it happened late, yet better late then never. The interpretation of last few songs were out of this world !!
