@wertyland Actually no. The song was written by Jeff Walker in 1968 and was subsequently covered by many artists to include Sammy Davis Jr. Despite his version being the most well known, it is not, in fact, a Sammy Davis Jr. Original.

Robbie does it way better than the original. And what's all the bloody talk about about Sammy Davis Jr. He wasn't even the one to make the song in the first place. It's Jeff Walkers, from 68 I think. But i completely agree with you on the fact that it's a great cover.

Of course no one can beat the original rat pack songs but he did this to honour them and bigband music. By doing this he showed the world what a great and talented performer he is. Great show and fantastic cd especially around christmas.

Even though this is really a copy of Sammy Davis Jr version, he does a great job. He has an excellent voice. All in all I really like what he does with this.
